HIGH WINDS FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS

Hi to all our friends and family that have now returned from their “Spring Break” or “Winter Holiday”. We have had friends and family visit Hawaii, Florida and chartered a catamaran to visit Bora Bora. Think of all they would tell you if they blogged it all on blogspot.com. The four of us left the Exuma Land and Sea Park yesterday morning with heavy winds and high seas!! The catamaran was covered with salt water spray. We wanted to get here to Staniel Cay because the winds are going to just get worse as the days get on. We are safe and sound here and just snorkeled the Thunderball Grotto once again. One can never get bored with this. I took some underwater footage and some pictures. We have slow slow internet so pictures will come as a part two. We have internet this afternoon because Lyne, Jack and us are at Staniel Cay Yacht Club (sounds preppy, but really is a rustic old building that one does NOT want to overdress. We are having one meal out.... we will have conch burgers, french fries, fish or just a good old fashioned hamburger!
We did walk into Staniel Cay to the “Blue” grocery store. I bought onions and a package of bagels. We haven't had bagels for months and we were sick of cereal... psst... I am running out of cereal, oops, next guests only get All Bran Buds :-).. which are Doug and Vicki from Toronto. Anyways, Lyne and Jack had a glimpse of Staniel Cay on shore, and super super hot on shore!
Yes, I want everyone to know Lyne and I did win a game of euchre, no swearing or stomping off, a familiar card game is all we needed to have a win, but who is counting? Not me. We watched a Russell Peters comedy show on a dvd that Dave and Traci gave us. We have good evening entertainment here on board Coyaba.
We want everyone to please know that the weather will be windy and not condusive for us to go ashore in the next few days for internet and blogging. Our phones work so that is great for important stuff, but no blogging here for a good long time. High winds, everyone is “buttoning” down their hatches for the next 4 or 5 days! We are all well and have great food and drink on board. AND we are in the Bahamas so you all know a bad day in the Bahamas is so much better than a good day in Ottawa hahahaha!
ps.. I cannot seem to edit this for spelling, sorry!

The Thunderball Movie is a 1965 production filmed right here starring Sean Connery. He and the crew of the film ate at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club... maybe right at the table we will eat at. ...Jack deKleer
